PRESS RELEASE – At Intertraffic Amsterdam, SICE and ITA Engineering, part of ITA Group Bulgaria, officially announced a strategic partnership to develop and deliver turnkey Smart Road solutions for intelligent mobility infrastructure.
The collaboration will cover the entire project lifecycle—from design and manufacturing to installation and commissioning—and will integrate a wide range of advanced traffic technologies, including LiDAR systems, traffic radar, security and ANPR cameras, weather stations, smart parking sensors, structural and landslide monitoring sensors, intelligent traffic lights, smart pedestrian crossings, intelligent intersections, and other field actuators.
“This agreement represents a very important step forward in SICE Telecom’s strategy to promote the deployment of Smart Cities and intelligent mobility infrastructure across Europe,” said Tommaso Cecchini, Director of the R&D Division at SICE. “It is the natural evolution of the initial phase in which SICE supplied RSU technologies for early Smart Road projects. Today, thanks to the partnership with ITA Group Bulgaria—of which we are extremely proud—we can offer a complete turnkey solution that is scalable and adaptable to any operational need.”
The partnership aims to accelerate the deployment of integrated Smart Road infrastructure and support the development of safer, more efficient, and more connected mobility systems across Europe. The collaboration between SICE and ITA Engineering Bulgaria will contribute to the advancement of next-generation mobility solutions supporting the digital transformation of European transport infrastructure.
